    Castle Combe

Dec 30, 2010 by Ian Carruthers | This post may contain affiliate links.

    Castle Combe

    Lets go racing

There can't be that many rides that go past a motor racing circuit. The ride doesn't start in Castle Combe unlike the short ride, instead starting in the pretty village of Biddestone. As well as crossing the other castle combe ride it also meets up with the Box ride.

This route is a classic cross country loop takes in some of the southern Cotswolds best views over to Bath. The second half of the ride has some good climbs and descents to add a bit of a challenge. It's at this point that the route intersects with the Box ride which if you are feeling brave and energetic you could extend into. You could even include the Bathford ride although you'd need to be feeling fit to do all three!

Whilst this ride is not particularly technical its still pretty rewarding, giving some great riding.

Is there a way to tell which direction to go?

Sorry always hard to tell from the GPX, you head off in the direction of castle combe and the loop goes anti clockwise.
