The Cotswolds is my home turf, and I’ve spent years exploring its trails and countryside, always seeking out new paths to ride. Starting with Cotswolds Mountain Biking: 20 Classic Rides, I’ve been able to uncover some great spots—but there’s so much more out there. That’s why I’ve started documenting the routes I ride, along with GPS tracks (in GPX form) to guide you on your journey.
While I strive for accuracy, remember that devices and GPS signals can vary, so don’t rely solely on the track—use it as a guide. If you’re new to the area or want more detailed directions, I highly recommend picking up Tom’s book as it does include directions.
A few routes may take you off the beaten track, so use common sense when riding on footpaths, and always respect the landscape. Safety first—wear a helmet, carry a phone, tell someone where you’re going, and take an OS map (Explorer series 168, 179, OL45, 167, and 156 168, 179, OL45, 167 and 156 are perfect for this region).
