Tomato sauce for pizza

pizza sauce

Since I’ve started making my own pizzas, I have to make my own tomato sauce, it just wouldn’t seem right not to. You could use this to make anything else that requires a tomato sauce, but I do tend only to use it for pizza.

Because this is always made for pizzas I bulk prepare and freeze individual portions using silicon cupcake cases, they hold the perfect amount for one pizza and are easy to pop in the freezer. When you need one you can just grab one out of the freezer and it only takes an hour if that to defrost ready to use.
