Snow socks

Snow sock for cars sound a little odd but they really do work. I brought mine last winter, to keep in the car just in case. Some of My colleagues had brought them and were raving about them, I was sceptical, more or less because it tends to be the case you can go anywhere because of the car in front being stuck.

Having moved out into a village even further away from work, ironically my route to the main roads are clearer than my old house, our house is on a bus route so gets treated. However getting of the drive in snow and ice is tricky as its on a slope and needs some TLC, with the snow socks it is no longer an issue we can just drive straight off, no messing around.

I have yet to try them driving any distance and I don’t really want to have to but I believe that they would make driving on snowy roads a lot safer that without.

For around £40 it’s defiantly worth getting a set to keep with the spare wheel, they are widely available on eBay.
