Nibley Downhill and Enduro

Nibley Enduro trails

Some of these trails are featured in the Nibley ride, instead of being a route these are more of a series of trails with in a fairly small area. There are three different areas to this location, all are accessible from the main track up to the Tyndale Monument.

The first area is to the North of the Tindale monument or off to the left from the top of the climb up from Nibley. These are mainly downhill style trails, with jumps and drops. These are at various levels from roll able to fully committed gap jumps.

The second area is to the north of Westridge woods, straight on from the top of the climb and then down on the left. These are steep enduro style trails.

The third area is at the south side of Westridge woods these are more flowing trails.

The three areas link nicely into a clockwise loop of the hill, with the opportunity to session any of the trails along the way. Generally we will start and finish at the Downhill trails at the top of the main climb.

All of the trails stand up reasonably in the wet, the downhill trails are well draining whereas the more enduro lines tend to be more natural and hold the water. This does tend to make them a little more sketchy in the wet, this just adds to the fun or challenge.

There is a Facebook group dedicated to the area which post regular updates on trail conditions.
